The 8th Ice and Snow World opened to visitors in Harbin, northeast
China's Heilongjiang Province December 23. More than 2000 ice
sculptures were on display during the annual event. It witnessed
70,000 tourists, including the first group of tourists from South
Korea, on the first day.
