On June 18, "Luohu Release" hosted a special event to announce the launch of the Luohu Medical Corpus Center. Representatives from the Luohu District Investment Promotion Bureau (Life and Health Industry Office), the District Government Services and Data Management Bureau, the Health Bureau, Shenzhen People's Hospital, Luohu Hospital Group, Mindray, Tencent Healthcare, Ubiquant Investment, and other key stakeholders attended the event.

Leveraging its robust healthcare resources, Luohu is actively promoting the establishment of a regional medical consortium that brings together both municipal- and district-level institutions. The joint effort aims to build a centralized medical corpus center, which has already received project approval and is moving forward steadily.

High-quality data is essential to every breakthrough in medical AI, yet fragmented and difficult-to-integrate healthcare data has long impeded industry progress. This initiative tackles those challenges by centralizing and standardizing medical data, laying a solid foundation for AI development in the healthcare sector.

Themed around "data elements × healthcare" and "AI + healthcare," the event underscored the importance of unlocking the value of healthcare data. By advancing data standardization and secure flow, the project is set to support collaborative governance and sharing of medical data for AI applications.

During the signing ceremony, the Luohu District People's Government signed agreements with several leading enterprises to jointly drive the development of the medical AI industry. Going forward, Luohu plans to strengthen cooperation with its partners, promote resource sharing, and accelerate the construction and optimization of the medical corpus center — fostering a virtuous cycle between healthcare innovation and AI advancement.
