Adjust font size:
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and

India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost cooperation in air services, the Emirates News Agency reported on Sunday.

Heads of the two countries' civil aviation authorities signed the MoU in Delhi, India on March 15.

According to the MoU, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram, two cities of Kerala state of India, are added as additional points of call for the designated airlines of the UAE.

The two countries also agreed to increase frequencies by 11 flights per week to the route Abu Dhabi-India-Abu Dhabi with immediate effect, the report said.

In addition, the designated airlines of both countries are permitted to operate any number of all-cargo services between any points in India and UAE with any aircraft type, with full third, fourth, and fifth freedom traffic rights to any intermediate or beyond points.
