Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf has blamed terrorists for the death of opposition leader Benazir Bhutto.

He says he will redouble his efforts to fight them. He has also announced three days of mourning for Bhutto and has called for calm across the country.

Pervez Musharraf, Pakistani President, said, "This is the work of those terrorists that we are engaged in war with. I have been saying the nation faces the greatest threats from these terrorists.

After today's tragic incident, I want to express my firm resolve. I express my resolve, and I also seek solidarity from the nation and cooperation and help, that we will not rest until we eliminate these terrorists and root them out."
