Britney Spears is renting a palatial mansion for $25,000 per month.

The singer is set to move into the property in an exclusive gated community just outside of Los Angeles, with her boyfriend Jason Trawick and sons, Sean Preston, six and five-year-old Jayden James after returning from her 'Femme Fatale' world tour, which ended in Puerto Rico on Saturday night (10.12.11).

The new property is only a few miles away from her former rented home in Calabasas which the 30-year-old popstar had been living in since 2009 but at 10,000 square feet is almost half the size.

The two-storey deluxe house has five bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms with marble and wood flooring and wrought-iron staircases with exposed-beam ceilings throughout.

Other features include a large entertainment room, custom theatre, swimming pool and even its own pub.

The property - which overlooks a golf course - is surrounded by mountains and has a huge cabana with outdoor kitchen area for entertaining.

After completing her world tour, Britney took to her twitter account yesterday (11.12.11) to thank everyone involved in the production.

She wrote: "That's a wrap! The Femme Fatale tour is officially over :( Gotta give some end of tour shout outs.

"To Brett and her fierce dance moves! She surprised me on stage tonight during Big Fat Bass

"To all my dancers - u all are basically family. Thx so much for an unforgettable year!

"To every single INCREDIBLE person on my crew - none of this would of been possible without you. I'm gonna miss u!

"Thx so much to the Conrad Condado Plaza for giving us a place to celebrate this tour & my 30th bday last night - we all loved the party!
