Beijing's Fengtai district kicked off a season-long international consumer festival on Thursday to stimulate economic activity and enhance local consumer experience.

The event, centered around the Lize Financial Business District, will last through the end of the year, featuring a variety of activities, including street fairs, interactive sports competitions, and an art festival.

"I wasn't expecting so many delicious foods here," said a young visitor at the street fair. "I tried pan-fried bean curd skin and red velvet cake. They were amazing!"

Since 2019, Lize Business District has attracted a total of 58 brands to open their first stores in Beijing, according to the district's management committee.
