China's Dai meets Hungarian leaders on bilateral ties

Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo met separately with Hungarian President Pal Schmitt and Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Friday with the two sides stressing to further bilateral relations.

During his meeting with Dai, Schmitt said that Hungary always cherish traditional friendship with China and is looking forward to expanding relations with the country in the fields of economic trade, investment, culture and education.

Hungary will also make effort to promote the relationship between the European Union and China, the president added.

In his talks with Dai, Orban praised China as one of the most energetic countries in the world, saying that the future of the world can not be without China.

Hungary attaches great importance to promoting strategic cooperation with China, and hopes to beef up cooperation with China in the fields of aviation, railway, telecommunication and nuclear energy, said Orban.

Orban also reiterated that Hungary will stick to One-China policy and respect China's choice in its development.

On business cooperation, the prime minister said that Chinese enterprises that wish to develop its business in Europe are encouraged to find their partners in Hungary. The Hungarian government is willing to provide all convenience in this process, he said.
