China Fortune Land Development (CFLD) announced on Feb. 19 that Wu Xiangdong had officially joined the company as its CEO and president. Wu previously served as executive director, nomination committee chairman, a member of the corporate governance committee and a member of the executive committee of China Resources Land Limited.
Wu Xiangdong, 51, joined China Resources (Holdings) Co., Ltd. (CR) in 1993 after graduating from Tsinghua University. He officially entered CR Land Limited in 2005. During his 25 years in CR, the commercial real estate system he built, represented most notably by The MixC Mall, helped CR in forming a two-wheel drive pattern of the "residential real estate + commercial real estate," paving the way for the company's long-term development.
According to the CFLD announcement, Wu, as the recommended director of China Fortune Land Holding Co Ltd, will be fully responsible for the company's business as CEO and president.
In recent years, CFLD has successfully expanded its Gu'an New Industry City model to 13 provinces across China.
