This is why Bi has dropped a national-level university for a provincial-level college, the best Wang is able to attend with his test score.

"It would be nice for us to attend the same college, in which case I will be able to continue to carry him for school," Bi said.

While Wang was initially happy when he heard of Bi's decision, he later thought otherwise. "Without me, he could go further," Wang said.

The two have apparently reached an agreement. They plan to take a trip together in the coming week to the scenic city of Hangzhou, capital of Zhengjiang province.

They call the journey the "brothers' trip".
