Shanghai topped a newly released ranking list on college graduate earnings, with an average monthly salary of 3,869 yuan ($635), MyCOS Data, a higher education consulting and outcome evaluation company released.

China's top-earning cities are Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing, with the lowest being Zhengzhou, capital city of Henan Province.
