Vice Chairman of Tibet Branch of Chinese Association of Buddhism said "The illegal behavior of a few separatists in Lhasa has threatened people's lives and the harmony of society. I think these crimes should not be tolerated."

Samye Kloster, Living Buddha said "On March 14th, a few outlaws caused riots in Lhasa using violent means. This has severely damaged public order and people's lives and property. It is totally against the humanitarian spirit."

Head of Lhasa Muslin Mosque said "I strongly believe that the conspiracy to split Tibet from China will never succeed and the criminals should be severely punished."

Vice Chairman of Chinese Association of Buddhism said "These violent activities were masterminded by Dalai clique. There's enough evidence to prove that nationality and region are only their slogan, their real purpose is to destroy stability and development in Tibetan-populated areas, and destroy the religious order. Most living Buddhas and monks are patriotic and against separatist activities. Tibetan people, include the religious figures, firmly oppose the recent riots."
