Gao Sizhong, senior Colonel of The Academy of Military Medical Sciences, said, "Those basic supplies are for saving people and epidemic prevention, in particular if there is a disease outbreak after the massive earthquake."

Gao Wuchun, professor of The Academy of Military Medical Sciences, said, "Because of the water and power cut, the sanitary conditions are not good. It's understandable. So there may be problems with food and drinking water."
