Gubeikou Great Wall in Beijing

這是古北口長(zhǎng)城的一座敵樓（11月14日攝）。古北口長(zhǎng)城坐落于北京市密云區(qū)古北口鎮(zhèn)。長(zhǎng)城抗戰(zhàn)是中國(guó)抗日軍民在長(zhǎng)城沿線(xiàn)抗擊日本侵略者的斗爭(zhēng)，是早期抗日斗爭(zhēng)的重要組成部分。1933年，盤(pán)踞在我國(guó)東北的日寇侵占熱河后，一路長(zhǎng)驅(qū)直入。冷口、喜峰口、古北口等地爆發(fā)長(zhǎng)城抗戰(zhàn)。古北口長(zhǎng)城上下，一批戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)遺跡、革命文物、紀(jì)念場(chǎng)所等，訴說(shuō)著這段歷史。[新華社記者 陳斌 攝]

The defense of the Great Wall is an important part of the early Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.
