British PM Says He Is Certain of Bin Laden Guilt

British Prime Minister Tony Blair said on Sunday that he has seen evidence of an " incontrovertible link" between Osama Bin Laden and the United States terror attacks.

"I have seen absolutely powerful and incontrovertible evidence of his link to the events of the 11th of September," Blair told the BBC's "Breakfast with Frost" program.

He said he had every confidence that Bin Laden's network would be eradicated in the fight against terror, and that leaders were preparing to present evidence against him in public.

"I think in the end the important thing is that we get him and stop him, and that is something that we'll pursue in whatever way we can," Blair said when asked whether he wanted bin Laden "dead or alive".

But the prime minister did not give further details.

Blair also warned Afghanistan's ruling Taliban that they must give up bin Laden, who is living in Afghanistan as a guest, or " become our enemy."

"If they are not prepared to give up bin Laden, which they could do if they wanted to, then they become an obstacle that we either have to disable or remove to get to bin Laden," Blair told the BBC from Brighton, a seaside resort where the Labor Party's annual political conference begins later Sunday.

Nearly 300 Britons were killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington, making Britain the second sacrificed country in the attacks only after the United states.

Blair had said he will stand "shoulder to shoulder" with the United States to hunt down the terrorists and punish them.
