Health Registration Cards No Longer Required

The passengers of China's domestic flights will no longer be required to fill in the health registration card starting from July 23, according to the Civil Aviation Administration of China.

According to the administration, any passenger to be on a cross-province flight will have to test their body temperature at the airport before boarding, and those with temperatures between 37.5 and 38 degrees Celsius will have to stay and receive further examination.

The passengers, if tested with a body temperature over 38 degrees Celsius, will not be allowed to take the flight and should be sent to local designated hospital for further check-up and treatment so as to isolate any suspected SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) case.

Flight passengers in China were required to filling health registration card starting from April 21 as a measure to curb the spread of SARS.
