The United Front

The United Front is an essential tool that the CPC uses to pool the strength of the whole of Chinese society to build a prosperous socialist country with Chinese characteristics. It helps forge partnerships and build harmonious relations among political parties, among ethnic and religious groups, among different regions, and among people from all walks of life, including overseas Chinese. The United Front has further evolved in this new century into the broadest alliance of all actors who contribute to the socialist cause and patriots who support socialism or national reunification. It is characterized by its unrivaled reach, inclusiveness and diversity, and its strong commitment to social progress. To advance China's socialist cause and realize the Chinese Dream of national renewal, it is essential to strengthen and expand to the greatest extent possible the Patriotic United Front to bring about extensive, powerful and sustained support.

統(tǒng)一戰(zhàn)線是中國共產黨凝聚社會各方面力量，促進政黨關系、民族關系、宗教關系、階層關系、海內外同胞關系的和諧，奪取中國特色社會主義新勝利的重要法寶。新世紀新階段，統(tǒng)一戰(zhàn)線已經進一步發(fā)展成為全體社會主義勞動者、社會主義事業(yè)的建設者、擁護社會主義的愛國者和擁護祖國統(tǒng)一的愛國者的最廣泛的聯(lián)盟，具有空前的廣泛性、巨大的包容性、鮮明的多樣性和顯著的社會性。推進中國特色社會主義事業(yè)，實現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復興中國夢，必須鞏固和發(fā)展最廣泛的愛國統(tǒng)一戰(zhàn)線，形成廣泛、強大、持久的力量支持。
