The spirit of Yan'an

Sacred to China's revolution, Yan'an was where the first generation of Chinese revolutionaries, led by Mao Zedong, worked from 1936 to 1948. At a critical juncture, with Yan'an as the headquarters of the revolution, they led the people to rescue the nation from defeat and achieve liberation. This was when the "Yan'an spirit" was formed.

In this spirit, they shed dogma and forged a sound political direction, emphasized self-reliance, hardworking in arduous conditions, and service to the people.

延安精神

延安是中國革命的圣地。20世紀(jì)30年代后期至40年代末,以毛澤東為代表的中國老一輩無產(chǎn)階級革命家,在此艱苦奮斗了13個(gè)春秋(1936年至1948年)。他們以延安為中國革命的總指揮部,完成了拯救民族危亡和爭取人民解放的歷史使命,培育和鑄造了延安精神。這一精神的主要內(nèi)涵包括:堅(jiān)定正確的政治方向,解放思想、實(shí)事求是的思想路線,全心全意為人民服務(wù)的根本宗旨,自力更生、艱苦奮斗的創(chuàng)業(yè)精神。延安精神培育了一代代中國共產(chǎn)黨人,是黨的優(yōu)良傳統(tǒng)和作風(fēng)的集中體現(xiàn)。
