Adjust font size:

Fudan University in Shanghai recently conducted a survey on the students' attitude toward the recent Nobel Prizes, finding that more than 91percent of the students have paid close attention to them.

About 61 percent of the students said that they had acquired the information about the prizes via the Internet or newspapers, another 24 percent had the event one of the major topics when chatting with friends or teachers, the rest six percent had known the event from the university's BBS.

When asked “What do you think about the fact that no Chinese mainlanders have ever been awarded the Nobel Prize,” 61 percent of the respondents believe the examination-oriented education system should be blamed for, as it harms creativity and restrains the personality of individuals.
