Carina Lau appeared at Xintiandi, a down-town business center in Shanghai, on Thursday evening, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony of some new jewelry and home decorating shops. Lau's frequent endorsements of household products has caused many people to question her family life. When asked what she expects to get out of life as a leading female star, Carina simply says: "Be myself." instead of 'have a happy family', which is a most-often-answer replied by a common woman, Sina.com reports. During the interview, Carina added that she is enjoying her present life of half work, half-rest, leaving a residual hint that she may give up her acting career.
