South, North Korea to Hold Talks Soon
Adjust font size:

South Korea and North Korea agreed to hold high-level talks from Feb. 27 to March 2 in Pyongyang, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported on Thursday.

The two sides agreed to hold ministerial talks next month after a seven-month suspension of high-level dialogue, officials were quoted by the news agency as saying.

The agreement was reached in North Korea's border city of Keasong, the news agency said, adding that it was reached just two days after a landmark international deal.

The two sides confirmed that they would develop bilateral relations in accordance with the spirit of the June 15, 2000 declaration, according to a joint statement adopted at a meeting held in Keasong.
