China, Hungary to Enhance Cooperation Between Armed Forces

China's military values its relations with Hungarian armed forces and is willing to promote bilateral cooperation, Defense Minister Cao Gangchuan said in Beijing on Wednesday.

 

Cao made the remarks in a meeting with his Hungarian counterpart Szekeres Imre.

 

Cao said China hopes to enhance cooperation with Hungary in various fields to push the China-Hungary relations to a new height.

 

Cao also briefed Szekeres on the recent "Peace Mission 2007"anti-terror drill, staged by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

 

Szekeres said Hungary appreciates China's achievement in economic development and hopes to expand bilateral ties and cooperation between Europe and China.

 

Szekeres also reiterated that Hungary adheres to the one-China policy.
