Adjust font size:

North Korea will shut down its nuclear facilities in Yongbyon if its funds are comprehensively unfrozen, said its top delegate to the six-party talks Kim Kye-gwan.

Kim addressed the chief envoys' meeting in Beijing on Monday morning that only when the funds issue is solved substantially can trust be established among all sides.

He also stressed that the trust among the six sides is very important.

The new round of six-party talks was launched Monday morning. Prior to the opening ceremony, the six sides held a chief envoys' meeting.
