China to Launch Shenzhou VI in September 2005

China's second manned space flight Shenzhou VI will take off in September this year and stay in orbit for five days.

Two astronauts are expected to be involved in the mission.

A Long March II F carrier rocket, which will launch space capsule, is currently being produced.

After the assembly work is completed in July, the Shenzhou 6 capsule and other components will be sent to a designated launch pad to prepare for the flight.

Yang Liwei successfully completed China's first manned space flight in October 2003.
