Horse Racing
|
Horse races are held
each year in the grasslands in northern Tibet and some farming
and livestock breeding areas.

Horse-man-ship
|
This includes shooting
and picking up a hada prayer scarf from the ground on galloping
horseback.

Archery
|
This is very popular
in Mainling, Medog and Zayu. Some arrows bear several holes.
When shot into the sky, they give off a sound, hence the nickname
of "whistling arrows."

Yak Racing
|
This is held during the
Ongkor (Bumper Harvest) Festival each August.
