At Qin's home, I have seen the practical utility of financial and technical support, her life is undergoing a positive change after having a new well dug and solar cookers installed. She said she felt this is the signal of better times ahead.

When I was writing this new thread, a dispute was occurring over the leaked Danish Scheme which developed countries made in private. Developed countries are still reluctant to share "common but diverse responsibilities," they have deliberately neglected calls to have its greenhouse gas emissions reduced, and require a substantial emission reduction in developing countries except for those least developed countries. By 2050, developing countries' annual carbon emissions per capita could be limited to 1.44 tons, while developed countries could reach 2.67 tons per capita! The developed countries have minimized their obligations on adapting fund.

As an ordinary Chinese citizen, I really hope that a mutual understanding can be reached in this field. Since we are coming together for a common goal, why not share more honesty, truth, toleration, and concern for the people beyond the numbers? After all, what we want to save is the future of people, everyone’s future.

I still believe this is possible, and share the same hope as Qin Baoye does.

The conference hall is simply equipped with just microphones and headphones, that is enough. We do not need any dubious techniques hidden under the table at all.
