科比在中國劇院前留手印

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant has become the first athlete ever to be immortalized at Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Hollywood movie industry landmark.

新華社報道，洛杉磯湖人隊后衛(wèi)科比·布萊恩特在美國加州好萊塢的格勞曼中國劇院前廣場留下手印和腳印，成為第一位在格蘇曼中國劇院被永久紀念的體育明星。格蘇曼中國劇院是好萊塢電影業(yè)的標志。周六科比在劇院內舉行的儀式上說，"這是一個巨大的榮耀。" 他還說，他的手印和腳印與眾多電影界的傳奇人物放在一起是他所有成就的最高峰，包括幫助湖人隊五次登頂美國職業(yè)籃球聯(lián)賽。

白宮從重慶選拔實習生

《重慶晨報》報道，美國白宮將從中國重慶選拔10名優(yōu)秀青年，成為白宮實習生，在美國總統(tǒng)身邊進行為期一個月的實習。這個青年大使計劃此前只向中國香港、臺灣地區(qū)的優(yōu)秀學生開放。

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant has become the first athlete ever to be immortalized at Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Hollywood movie industry landmark, Xinhua reported. Imprints of Bryant's hands and feet will be placed in the theater's famous Forecourt of the Stars. "This is a tremendous honor," Bryant said at the ceremony, which was held inside the theater Saturday. He said having his prints alongside those of Hollywood legends was "right at the top" of his many accomplishments, including helping the Lakers to five NBA championships.

White House to hire Chinese interns

The White House is to select 10 young people from Chongqing to work for President Obama for a month as interns, the Chongqing Morning News reported. The Youth Ambassador Plan had previously been restricted to Hong Kong and Taiwan.
