The study from the University of Scranton shows that in terms of antioxidant content, walnut ranks first among different types of nuts and its antioxidant is more powerful.

Another advantage of walnuts is that they are usually eaten in their natural state rather than being roasted, which generally reduces the quality of the antioxidants.
