Rinku Devi gave birth to two sons in India last Friday - one from each of her uteruses.

An Indian woman with two wombs has given birth to two sons - one from each uterus, the Daily Mail reports.

Rinku Devi delivered her one-in-fifty-million babies last Friday in the northern city of Patna.

Devi, 28, believed she was carrying twins but had no idea of her medical condition, known as uterus didelphys, or double uterus.

During labor doctors discovered the mother-to-be had conceived her sons a month apart.

"I am very happy and feel proud to have survived through this. When I was told I was carrying twins, I thought they would look the same, but I am happy they look different. I want to thank God for giving me a new life," Rinku said.
