Adjust font size:

World record holder Dayron Robles of Cuba breezed into the next round of the men's 110m hurdles on Monday morning at the Beijing Olympics.

In heat one, Robles clocked 13.39 seconds, followed by Andrew Turner of Britain and Ji Wei of China.

Robles said, "I'm perfect today, and the track is good for breaking world record."

When talking about prospects of beating Liu Xiang, the 21-year-old Cuban said, "We'll wait and see."

Chinese favorite Liu will join the competition in the last heat.
