Abraham Cheruiyot Tarbei of Kenya finished the Men's 5000m T46 final in 14 minutes and 20.88 seconds and set a new world record to win the gold medal at the National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest, during the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing on September 13, 2008.
