China was the Guest of Honor at the Frankfurt Book Fair

For the first time ever, China was the Guest of Honor at the Frankfurt Book Fair, which was held from October 13-18 in Frankfurt, Germany. The annual book fair is the world's largest book and copyright platform.

This year’s theme was "Tradition and Innovation," and as many as 612 programs presented Chinese culture and literature to the world. China sent the largest delegation ever, including more than 150 writers, 300 actors and actresses, and some 700 publishers and traders. China International Publishing Group, the parent company of China.org.cn and China's largest foreign-language publishing organization, presented a wide range of books at the fair.
