From China's second richest man to prison, it took Yang Bin only less than two years. Yang, Chinese-Dutch businessman, was listed as the second richest man in China by Forbes in 2001, with assets of 7.5 billion yuan ($ 1.1 billion). His orchard and real estate empire collapsed when Yang was arrested on charges of bribery and fraud in 2002 and sentenced to 18 years in prison in 2003.
