Fan Bingbing is a famous actress in China and popularly referred to as "China's Monica Bellucci." In 2011, her popularity in China rose due to her performances in "Shaolin" and "Buddha Mountain."  She won the Best Actress Award at the 2010 Tokyo International Film Festival for her role in "Buddha Mountain." She also appeared at the 64th Cannes Film Festival to promote her new film "My Way."
