Though it's only been around for 10 years, the Summer Sonic Festival has quickly become one of Japan's greatest musical events. It offers a diverse selection of rock and pop acts. The two-day festival splits its time between Tokyo and Osaka, two of Japan's most exciting cities. Don't worry about missing any of your favorite artists because all artists appear at both venues. The line-up contains a wide range of Asian, European, and American performers. A grand fireworks show concludes each concert. Top international acts including Oasis, Linkin Park, Blur, Radiohead and Metallica have performed at the festival over the years.
