Hisense, founded as the Qingdao No.2 Radio Factory in 1969, is a multinational electronics manufacturer based in Qingdao, Shandong Province. The company constructed the 3C framework led by home appliances, communication and information, with its leading products in TV sets, air conditioners, refrigerators and mobile phones. According to data from China Market Monitor Co., Ltd., the sales volume and market share of Hisense flat-panel televisions have ranked first in China for the past eight continuous years. At the end of 2010, the brand value of Hisense reached 25.98 billion yuan (US$4.11 billion).
