Established in 1938 in Daegu City of South Korea, Samsung now is a multinational conglomerate company, whose businesses include information technology, heavy industry, engineering and construction, insurance and advertising. In 1992, Samsung set up its first factory in China, and founded Samsung China Investment Co., Ltd. in 1996.
