Jiuru Mountain Scenic Area is located at Licheng District, about 48 kilometers southwest of downtown Jinan. A national forest park, the area features varied sceneries, including eight ponds, nine waterfalls, 24 springs and 36 peaks. With an area of 36 square kilometers, over 97 percent of the place is covered by different kinds of vegetation. Having splendid waterfalls, emerald ponds, spectacular canyon sights, soaring peaks and winding footpaths, visitors can enjoy very diverse, yet all breathtaking sceneries all year round.
