The Murdoch family

Sir Keith Arthur Murdoch (August 1885–October 1952) was an Australian journalist and the CEO and chairman of News Limited. In 1952, his son Keith Rupert Murdoch became managing director of Australia's News Limited and established the global media holding company News Corporation. As of 2009, News Corp was the world's third largest entertainment conglomerate. In 2011, it was the world's second largest media group in terms of revenue.
