By the end of 2012, the enterprise's sales revenue had reached 28.6 billion yuan (US$4.602 billion), up 10.1 percent compared with 2011. However, operating profits were only 10 billion yuan (US$1.61 billion), down 9.1 percent due to a clean-up of the inventory, according to the company's annual report.
