Second Reservoir of the Fenhe River（汾河二庫）

The Second Reservoir of the Fenhe River, located at the lower end of the river's upper reaches, is a scenic area in the northwestern outskirts of Taiyuan. Construction of the reservoir began in 1996 and was completed in 2000. Boasting picturesque natural scenery and historical structures, the scenic area features clear waters, imposing mountains, ancient temples, stone caves and clear springs. Here, visitors may also participate in activities such as boating, bungee jumping and fruit picking.
