Jiuzhaigou, or Jiuzhai Valley. in the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province, is a magical fairyland of nature offering an enchanting mixture of mountains, forests, lakes, waterfalls and teeming wildlife. During autumn, colorful leaves are reflected in the clear emerald water of the local lakes. The lakes vary in color according to their depths, angle at which the light strikes them and the surroundings, creating a stunning contrast with the blue sky and snow-white clouds.
