"3 Faces" is an Iranian drama directed by Jafar Panahi and starring Behnaz Jafari and Panahi as themselves. It was selected to compete at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival and won Best Screenplay. The film tells the story about how well-known actress Behnaz Jafari receives a provincial girl's video plea for help, and feels increasingly distraught by it. The girl who is oppressed by her family, is not allowed to pursue her studies at the Tehran drama conservatory and Behnaz abandons her shoot and turns to filmmaker Jafar Panahi to help solve the mystery of the young girl's troubles.
