Tourism resources in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region were promoted at the tourism exhibition of 2015 China-ASEAN Expo in Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on May 29.
Themed with “21st Century Maritime Silk Road Tourism Development and Cooperation,” the exhibition aims to promote tourism communication and exchange between China and ASEAN countries.
A total of five tourism bureaus and 10 enterprises from Ningxia took part in the exhibition. The Ningxia delegation expressed that Ningxia would cooperate with ASEAN countries to further promote the elite tourism routes and realize win-win development. “The expo provides a good platform for communication and cooperation between Chinese Hui Cultural Park and tourism entrepreneurs from both home and abroad,” said Duan Mingliang, the sales manager of Chinese Hui Cultural Park, a renowned tourism site in Ningxia.
With a total exhibition area of 23,000 square meters, the exhibition establishes 1000 exhibition booths in four themed sectors, namely tourism image, consumption, science and products. The three-day event will also hold tourism promotion, negotiation and trade fairs.
