The number of Qingdao female entrepreneurs keeps going up

More than fifty creative handicrafts, which condense craftsmen's painstaking care, were exhibited for sale at street fairs on Sept. 4, 2015. MOWO volunteers held this charity sale for poor students.

Creative handicrafts attract customers  

Cloth toys, leather wallets, elegant inwrought book covers and many other handicrafts are so attractive that customers enjoying spending their money on them. A staff said these handicrafts sell well for they are totally handmade.

Charity sale for poor students

The leader of Qingdao team of MOWO said that he hopes more and more people focus on children in poor areas through the charity sale. Founded in 2005, MOWO is a non-governmental organization aimed at improving education environment in poor mountainous area. Qingdao team of MOWO will go to Yishui County to finance thirty poor students there.

The number of female entrepreneurs keeps going up

Qingdao Municipal Government proposed an explicit development strategy to encourage business startups, which helps the number of female entrepreneurs represented by female college students keep going up.

The three-day street fair provided citizens in Qingdao a free platform to display and sell their handcraft products, playing a significant role in supporting female entrepreneurship and employment.
