Guo Chuan, a voyager and yachtsman from China, holds a press conference with his team on the famous nuclear-powered icebreaker named "Lenin" in Murmansk, "the City of Heroes" in Russia, on September 1, 2015.

He announced that the ship named "Qingdao" with 6 crew members from 4 countries would depart from Murmansk Port on the morning of September 3.

The voyage is about 3,300 sea miles, then after over 3,700 sea miles' voyage, it will arrive at Qingdao Port at the end of September or in the beginning of October.

This challenge will break the world record of ceaseless voyage that galleon traverses the northeast route of the Arctic Ocean, and it will also be the first time for Chinese leading the international fleet to fulfill such a feat of great daring.

Without having a rest, Guo Chuan hurried to the airport 30 miles away to pick up his families who would see him off. At each critical moment, they will cheer me up and encourage me to focus on my career, Guo said.
