This is Beijing Tongrentang Chinese Medicine Hospital. It is considered one of the top facilities for this type of medicine. Daily, many patients wait to see a doctor and buy traditional Chinese Medicine. Why is this practice so attractive to the Chinese people? One hospital official has an idea.

When falling ill, TCM is beneficial to prevent the disease from get worse. In addition, TCM can help relax our mind and body."

In the pharmacy, everyday is busy for staff. They have to ensure the quality and quantity of each potion. The director is an expert on medicine quality evaluation and has plenty of experience in this area.

And as far as the the registration problem in Europe, he says there is a long road ahead.

Cui Qingli said, "To get Traditional Chinese Medicine into the world market and have it recognized by other countries, we must assemble the efforts of all the experts, hospitals, and companies of this sector, and the all-out support of Chinese government."
