Vibrant colors, edgy designs, comfortable textures, and shiny accessories make these little models even cuter on the runway.

This collection, "Comme Tu Es" - or "As You Are" - created by Liu Jia, offers cozy sweaters, coats, long-sleeve shirts, and down jackets for girls and mothers.

Boys and fathers, meanwhile, can sport a trendy look with windbreaker coats, rock-star graphic t-shirts, and vintage-style trousers.

But it's not just an eye-catching result.

"It's not your average sportswear, there's a design concept to it. It's very wearable, and you can pair them up with your regular clothing," Liu said.

Liu says the the collection also encourages parents to spend more time with their children.

"I've always wanted to do a parent-child sports collection. Because nowadays, the parents are so busy with their work, and most of the interaction they have with their kids is just staying at home and watching TV or playing with their ipads. They should take their kids outside, to embrace nature, maybe a football match or mountain climbing, for a more healthy lifestyle," she said.

China Fashion Week in Beijing this year will see a total of 46 catwalk shows exhibiting the creations of 38 well-known designers and 70 new artists. It runs until Thursday.
