ATHENS, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Pirates released a Greek-owned tanker which they had hijacked over the weekend off Ivory Coast and all 24 crew members of the vessel were in good health, Greek national news agency AMNA reported on Wednesday.

According to the Greek managing company Grace Management S.A., pirates stole the 32,000 metric tons of fuel the Bahamas-flagged "Orfeas" was carrying to Lagos in Nigeria and let the ship and the crew go near the coast of Abidjan on Tuesday.

"Orfeas," with two Greek officers and 22 Filipinos seamen on board, was seized off the coasts of the western Africa country where several piracy attacks have been reported recently.

In August, another Greek tanker was hijacked and released in the area, after about 30,000 metric tons of fuel were stolen. Enditem
