Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said here Tuesday that Japan has "grave concern" over the announcement by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to restart its nuclear facility.

Suga said that the DPRK's decision is a violation of the resolutions adopted by the six-party talks and the UN Security Council, according to local media.

The Japanese top government spokesman also said that Japan will seek close cooperation with related countries to urge the DPRK to keep its promises and refrain from any provocative actions, Japan' s Kyodo News Agency reported.

The DPRK's official KCNA news agency reported Tuesday that the country has decided to "readjust" and "restart" all nuclear facilities at its Nyongbyon nuclear complex, including a uranium enrichment plant and a 5MW graphit moderated reactor. Endi
