The rotating presidency system of the Western China International Fair has effectively promoted enthusiasm in the provinces, regions and cities involved, resulting in remarkable achievements.

The system, advocated by China's National Development and Reform Commission, was implemented five years ago. So far, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Yunnan province and Shaanxi province have each held the rotating presidency. They have all organized the fair with the utmost care, fully displaying their good investment and development environments, their local resource advantages and their unique industrial features. They have made great progress in the promotion of investment and trade cooperation.

Shaanxi province, which held the rotating presidency for the 15th Western China International Fair, brought together over 110 key companies to participate in the fair. Statistics show that during this fair, Shaanxi signed 18 investment project contracts worth a total of 21.185 billion yuan.
